Why get an inspection?

The process of buying/selling a home is very stressful.

It is by far the largest investment you will make in your lifetime.

Most people aren’t thinking about the nuts and bolts of a home. They are concentrating on the new neighborhood, new friends, quality schools, great shopping etc...

And while they are all excited about those things they may miss the water stain on the ceiling, heat not working properly, or chimney leaning away from the house.

A home inspector is specially trained to look for problems in a home.

A qualified inspector will know what and where to look for problems. They will inspect the home in an unbiased and professional manner.

This is not to say that anyone is purposefully hiding something.

Many times a seller or Realtor isn’t aware of a problem until a home inspector points it out.

Which brings us to a very important point for Homebuyers…..

The Home Inspector should be working for you.

Not the Realtor, seller, or builder.
He should be looking out for YOUR best interests.

And that is exactly what JA Mersereau & Associates has in mind when we do home inspections

WE look out for your best interests…

We provide the best report available and we take the time to explain the report to you.

It is our job to provide a Professional and unbiased report
and we take that job seriously!

If you are buying a home, a home inspection offers you some assurance that you are aware of the major problems of the house.
